Dorado’s performance of “I Want You” also wowed the panel of judges, earning an impressive 798 out of 800 points\u2014the highest score in the season’s history.<\/p>\n
Born Gwyneth Dorado, she first gained attention as a child finalist on “Asia’s Got Talent Season 1” in 2015 at the age of 10. She performed Katy Perry’s “Roar” in the audition round and earned four yeses from all four judges, Anggun, David Foster, Melanie C, and Vanness Wu.<\/p>\n
She advanced to the grand finale and placed among the Top 5 finalists, joining fellow Filipino acts Shadow Playgroup El Gamma Penumbra and soprano Gerphil Flores.<\/p>\n
Dorado was also tapped to sing the Philippine National Anthem during the last State of the Nation Address of the late President Noynoy Aquino in 2016.<\/p>\n
In February 2024, she signed a five-year contract with South Korean agency A.O Entertainment.<\/p>\n
Since then, she released “What If,” the official soundtrack of the K-drama “ToGetHer,” along with the digital single “Way,” marking her official debut in South Korea.<\/p>\n
