Corriedale<\/a>‘s mystery woman Jodie will be paying a visit to Weatherfield tomorrow, following her brief appearance in the crossover. As the newcomer makes a strange bee-line for the Platts, could Shona and her baby be in danger? <\/p>\n

Tonight’s dramatic crossover saw Jodie making her on-screen debut amid a horrifying crash on a remote road. The incident quickly escalated to a multi-vehicle pile-up, with a number of casualties from Weatherfield and Emmerdale.<\/p>\n

As characters from both soaps united to help the injured, an approaching van suddenly came to a stop. Viewers then saw a terrified Jodie tied up in the back of the vehicle<\/a>, which was being driven by returning Emmerdale character Graham Foster<\/a>. She fled from the vehicle and was injured during her escape, but she was soon rescued by Kit Green.
<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Shona found herself in a perilous situation while she and David were trapped in the fiery collision. If that wasn’t scary enough, pregnant Shona<\/a> went into early labour and was rushed to Hotten General Hospital – with the fate of her unborn baby left up in the air. <\/p>\n

In upcoming episodes of Corrie, a doctor tells Shona<\/a> that they’re moving her to Weatherfield General, where a team of specialists are waiting for her. As the Platts leave the hospital, they pass Jodie in the corridor, awaiting her own treatment. <\/p>\n

It becomes clear that there’s some connection between the characters when a stunned Jodie stares after them. However, David and Shona are preoccupied as they prepare for the complex surgery that could save their daughter’s life.<\/p>\n

In Weatherfield, the Platts face more heartbreak when their consultant surgeon is held up ahead of the vital operation. While they anxiously await news, Jodie appears in Shona’s room with a stolen teddy bear.

In the corridor, Jodie’s concerning behaviour continues as she corners David with questions about baby Harper. She lurks eerily nearby while the new parents enjoy some time with their newborn daughter. <\/p>\n

Later, David and Shona share photos of Harper with their family, but the moment is interrupted by the newcomer who bursts into the room. How will the Platts react? And why is Jodie stalking them? <\/p>\n

Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX<\/a>.<\/p>\n
