EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 The El Paso Zoo said it is looking after a sick bald eagle that was rescued in Silver City, New Mexico. <\/p>\n
According to a social media post made by the El Paso Zoo, the veterinary team is tending a bald eagle that was found in Silver City and is thin and anemic.<\/p>\n
The Zoo said it is checking the bird for infections, such as Avian Influenza, and checking for toxic lead levels.<\/p>\n
Despite its weak state, the team said the bold eagle didn’t have broken bones.<\/p>\n
While they wait for the test results, the team said it will care and feed the bald eagle. <\/p>\n
