Coronation Street villain Becky Swain threatens to take Lisa down with her next week \u2013 making it clear that her reign of terror still isn’t over. But when the former couple’s daughter Betsy pays her mum a visit behind bars, can she talk some sense into her?<\/p>\n

The tense scenes play out after Becky was finally arrested for her crimes in one-hour crossover event Corriedale<\/a> last night. While those affected by Becky’s behaviour are hoping to move on, life on the cobbles is never that simple\u2026<\/p>\n

“Becky’s wrongdoings have caught up to her, but even from a prison cell, she’ll stop at nothing to keep Lisa and Carla apart,” our Corrie source explains.<\/p>\n

“She wants to incriminate Lisa for hiding the fact that she’s alive and letting her live with her.<\/p>\n

“After kidnapping Carla, trying to kill Costello and crashing her car, we wouldn’t put it past Becky to make one final swipe at ruining Lisa’s life\u2026”<\/p>\n

When Betsy overhears tense Lisa telling Carla that Becky is threatening to name her in her sentencing and take her down with her, she’s furious.<\/p>\n

Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Betsy marches down to the prison to give her mum a piece of her mind.<\/p>\n

“Betsy finally tells Becky exactly how she feels about all of the terrible things that she’s done, and Becky is gobsmacked,” our spy continues. “She was firmly on Becky’s side for a while, but was eventually forced to accept that she’d been duped by her manipulative mum.<\/p>\n

“If Becky implicates Lisa, it will leave Betsy without either of her mums, and surely even she isn’t cruel enough to do that!”<\/p>\n

Later, Carla calls round to check on hurt Betsy, and Betsy begs her stepmum to stay.<\/p>\n

Will Carla support her family when they need her the most? And will Becky follow through with her threats, dooming Lisa to prison time?<\/p>\n
