The ex-couple have waived alimony and child support payments<\/p>\n
\n\tNicole Kidman<\/a> and Keith Urban<\/a> have finalized their divorce, with the former couple agreeing to waive alimony and child support payments, according to online court records.<\/p>\n \n\tThe divorce was finalized Tuesday, Jan. 6, in Nashville court just over three months after Kidman and Urban announced their separation. The couple were married in June 2006 and were together for 19 years before Kidman filed for divorce<\/a> on Sept. 30, citing irreconcilable differences.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tAccording to People<\/a>, the divorce settlement stipulates that both parties will be responsible for their own legal fees and expenses. It also lays out a parenting plan for the couple\u2019s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, both of whom will primarily reside with Kidman.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tBoth parents will maintain joint responsibility for major decisions in their daughters\u2019 lives. The agreement also states that Kidman and Urban \u201cwill not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent,\u201d and \u201cwill encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tReps for Kidman and Urban did not immediately return Rolling Stone\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tKidman appeared in one film last year, Holland, while also serving as an executive producer on the Australian TV show The Last Anniversary. She\u2019s set to appear in several projects this year, including Practical Magic 2<\/a>, and two TV shows, Scarpetta and Margo\u2019s Got Money Troubles.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tAs for Urban, he released his most recent album<\/a>, High<\/a>, in 2024.
