There’s no screen, which means if you want to monitor your workout in real time you will need to do so on the app. Thankfully, it’s very consistent about automatically detecting and recording your workouts. So if you like to get all the data, but want a workout free of notifications, the Whoop is the wearable for you. And unlike a watch, you don’t have to charge it every other day. We’ve spent months with the Whoop 5.0 and it’s a remarkable fitness tracker. Our only gripe is that some testers found it less comfortable to wear around the wrist than a watch, for example.
