Kody Brown may have made (some) positive changes<\/a> in the aftermath of the ex-wife apology tour he embarked on this season; however, it appears that the former polygamist continues to struggle when it comes to taking accountability for his actions.<\/p>\n

In Access Hollywood\u2019s sneak peek<\/a> of Sunday\u2019s Sister Wives Season 20 Tell-All, host Suki Krishnan brings up the topic of the Brown Family\u2019s much-disputed Coyote Pass property, leading Kody to double down on his claim that his ex-wife Janelle attempted to push the sale forward behind the back of her former sister wife Meri.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the clip, Meri\u2013\u00a0who is joined by her BFF Jenn Sullivan for this portion of the Tell-All\u2013 admits to Suki that she suspected Kody and Janelle had discussed selling the property without her, citing Janelle\u2019s suspicious behavior as a major clue.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cShe was basically treating me the way Kody did throughout most of our marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c \u2026 there was a time that I said to Jenn, I\u2019m like, \u2018There\u2019s probably something going on because Janelle\u2019s not really talking about stuff, every time we have a conversation, she\u2019s not bringing stuff up, she\u2019s not,\u2019\u201d Meri recalls.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meri goes on to claim that she didn\u2019t confront Janelle about her suspicions because she didn\u2019t trust Janelle at the time and doubted that Janelle would be honest with her about what was going on.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As for Kody, he maintains that Janelle was the brains behind the idea.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, so Janelle\u2019s like, \u2018You can force the sale,\u2019\u201d he tells Suki, before then accusing Janelle of \u201creally misrepresenting\u201d what actually transpired between them and of \u201cpressuring\u201d him to go along with her alleged scheme.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Kody, unknowingly revealing the reason that no one is buying his story\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201c \u2026 it wasn\u2019t my idea,\u201d Kody insists. \u201cJanelle came to me with the idea, \u2018You can force the sale on this,\u2019 and then started pressuring me. Very typical plural marriage situation, it was like old times.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like, she\u2019s pressuring me against the other wives [and saying], \u2018We need to sell, you need to make those other women come into compliance,\u2019\u201d he continues.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kody tells Suki that he told Janelle she could be the one to contact Meri and \u201ctalk her into\u201d the deal that was on the table at the time, but Janelle \u201cwouldn\u2019t do that,\u201d causing them to be \u201ccompletely stuck.\u201d Kody claims that this is when Janelle came up with the idea to offload the property behind Meri\u2019s back and to have Kody \u201cpay [Meri] later.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a temptation only for a moment,\u201d he admits.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201c\u2026not unlike Meri herself!\u201d<\/p>\n

While Kody also admits that this proposed idea was \u201cbackstabby\u201d of Janelle, he denies doing any backstabbing himself, insisting that he \u201cwas already at war with Meri\u201d at the time and seemingly didn\u2019t owe her his loyalty.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t partnering with Meri [or] telling Meri that, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m going to protect your interest, Meri,\u2019\u201d he says. \u201cI mean, I wasn\u2019t sitting there sucking up to Meri all the time. Janelle didn\u2019t care. Janelle just wanted to get her money, and I was like, you know what? If we lose the buyer, we lose the buyer.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

As if placing all of the blame on Janelle for the \u201cbackdoor deal\u201d that never happened wasn\u2019t bad enough, Kody then accuses Janelle of making similar demands throughout the entirety of their marriage. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was very normal for Janelle to come up to me and say, \u2018I want this and I want this \u2026 and in fact, if you don\u2019t do it, then I\u2019m just going to do it myself,\u2019\u201d he claims.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cWell, SOMEONE had to get things done while you were busy catering to your \u2018shy and pretty\u2019 wife and The Chosen Five.\u201d<\/p>\n

As \u2018Sister Wives\u2019 fans may remember, Meri stated on an episode that aired in November that Kody blamed her for slowing down the process<\/a> to sell Coyote Pass, before revealing that Kody also wanted her to sign a confidentiality agreement<\/a>, which she refused to do.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When asked about this by producers, Kody claimed that when the Browns received their first offer on Coyote Pass, Janelle was worried<\/a> they\u2019d lose the buyer due to the lot division issue not being settled at the time. He then accused Janelle of \u201cpushing\u201d him to either comply with all of Meri\u2019s wishes or force the sale of the property, while revealing that he nearly made this \u201cbackdoor deal\u201d with Janelle to sell Coyote Pass without Meri or his wife Robyn\u2019s knowledge.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Janelle seemed to confirm Kody\u2019s initial claims (at least in part) during the episode in November, telling viewers that Kody informed her at one point that he could technically sell the property without Robyn or Meri\u2019s consent.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kody claimed on the same episode that Robyn insisted at the time that she and Kody not \u201cmess [Meri and Janelle] over\u201d<\/a> in the deal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cThey don\u2019t call me Saint Robyn for nothing!\u201d<\/p>\n

As The Ashley previously reported, the Browns were ultimately able to sell Coyote Pass for $1.5 million<\/a> in April, with each party\u2013 Janelle, Meri, Kody and Robyn\u2013 receiving $375,000 from the sale.\u00a0<\/p>\n
