As a family nurse practitioner based in Texas, she looks for evidence-led, sustainable and realistic ways to switch up her workouts. That’s what led her to the Japanese walking method. ‘I tried it for 30 days. Because Japan has the highest life expectancy in the world and an obesity rate of just 4.5%, compared to 43% here in the United States,’ she explains.

Curious whether the approach could translate to a Western lifestyle, George documented the experiment from start to finish on her YouTube channel. ‘I’m sharing what the Japanese walking method really is, the science behind why it works, exactly what I did for 30 days to test it out, and most importantly, the surprising benefits I experienced. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this part.’ The results went beyond expectations, including noticeable weight loss and changes you can see for yourself – with a before-and-after image if you scroll on.

Always consult your doctor or a qualified health professional before starting a weight loss plan.
