The Food Safety Authority of Ireland ( FSAI<\/a> ) has issued a recall for a batch of protein<\/a> based ready meals.<\/p>\n

The PUREPOWER Nutrition Chicken Chow Mein is being recalled due to a packaging error. It was mispacked with PUREPOWER Nutrition Chicken & Chorizo Paella, and therefore all labelling is incorrect.<\/p>\n

The implicated batch is the 400g package. The use-by date is January 15. Consumers are advised not to eat<\/a> the implicated batch<\/p>\n

Additionally, another recall is in place for the PUREPOWER Nutrition Chicken & Chorizo Paella.<\/p>\n

The ready meal contains milk. Milk is not declared on the ingredients list.<\/p>\n

This may make the implicated batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk. All use by dates up to and including January 17 are affected.<\/p>\n

PUREPOWER is an Irish brand and is sold in supermarkets including Tesco, Dunnes Stores and Supervalu.<\/p>\n

Batches of a popular hummus brand have also been recalled due to an incorrect use-by date. The Galway<\/a> Kitchen Classic Hummus with use-by dates up to January 19 are being recalled.<\/p>\n

If consumed after the 24th of December 2025, it may pose a microbiological risk which may make the batch unsafe to eat. Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batch after the 24th December 2025.<\/p>\n

Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.<\/p>\n
