A man accused of approaching a Garda patrol vehicle and telling garda\u00ed to \u201cget the f*** out of the car\u201d will appear in court again on February 3 by video link from prison.<\/p>\n
Judge Mary Dorgan adjourned the case to Cork District Court to fix a date for a hearing.<\/p>\n
The alleged circumstances were previously outlined by Sergeant Gear\u00f3id Davis.<\/p>\n
Garda Paraic White responded to a call to Mill Park, Mallow Rd, Cork, at around 10.30pm on October 8, 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cGarda\u00ed arrived at the scene and parked their patrol car in front of a house at Mill Park. Dean Oosterloo open the door of the property and walked aggressively towards the patrol car.<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHe was repeatedly shouting in a threatening manner at the patrol car, \u2018Get the f*** out of the car.\u2019\u00a0\n <\/p>\n
Gardai were repeatedly instructing him to drop an item he was holding in his left hand.<\/p>\n
\u201cDean Gosterloo returned to the front door of his home. When Dean Oosterloo turned, garda\u00ed saw that it was a knife he was holding; holding the knife backwards, with the blade end of the knife being tucked up inside his sleeve.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe turned around before he reached the door, and walked in a fast and aggressive manner towards the patrol car. He was again shouting, \u2018Get the f*** out of the car\u2019. As he approached the car, he was pepper-sprayed.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe retreated into the house, still carrying the knife\u2026 He re-emerged, shouting aggressively and ran towards garda\u00ed, when pepper spray was used on him again\u2026 He was arrested in possession of the knife,\u201d Sgt Davis alleged.<\/p>\n
