From the return of one of its most popular romance shows to the end of a prominent sitcom, January is a month of new beginnings and warm farewells for Netflix. Here are some shows you don’t want to miss out on.<\/p>\n

Run Away<\/p>\n

Netflix continues its run of Harlan Coben adaptations in 2026 with Run Away<\/a>, a twisted British mystery limited series where nothing is as it seems. The show follows Simon Greene (Bloodlands’ James Nesbitt), a dedicated father whose seemingly perfect life is torn apart when his eldest daughter, Paige, runs away from home and normalcy.<\/p>\n

As Paige falls back on drugs and gets involved in risky situations, Simon tries his best to bring her back home but is entangled in a world of danger and betrayal. He is unsure of whom to trust, with his closest family hiding secrets that threaten to tear his world apart.<\/p>\n

HIS & HERS<\/p>\n

Based on the 2020 Alice Feeney novel of the same name, HIS & HERS<\/a> is a mystery miniseries that you can binge-watch over the weekend. The story follows two sides of the same story, with an estranged couple and a mysterious murder at the center. Anna (Creed’s Tessa Thompson), a news anchor, searches for answers in a murder in her hometown, while her detective ex (The Punisher’s Jon Bernthal) works the case. Both are suspicious of each other, leading them down a path of danger dotted by betrayal and loss.<\/p>\n

Can This Love Be Translated?<\/p>\n

Netflix always delivers with its K-dramas, and 2026 is no exception, with a versatile roster of South Korean titles slated for release on the platform. One of them is the romance show Can This Love Be Translated<\/a>, which follows the love story between Hojin, a polyglot interpreter, and Muhee, a top actress.<\/p>\n

The two meet before Muhee’s rise to fame and reunite professionally at her pinnacle of success, with Hojin acting as her interpreter for a reality dating show where she travels internationally with a Japanese actor. Their personalities clash as their emotions are lost in translation, but the two find themselves falling in love despite differences and Hojin’s avoidant personality.<\/p>\n

The Upshaws: Part 7<\/p>\n

After a nearly six-year run, Netflix’s sitcom, The Upshaws<\/a>, is finally coming to an end with a seventh and final part. With a 12-episode run, the final part will say goodbye to the Upshaws with a heartwarming finale.<\/p>\n

Created by Regina Y. Hicks and Wanda Sykes, The Upshaws is a family sitcom about an Indianapolis-based Black family. Bennie Upshaw (Next Friday’s Mike Epps), the head of the Upshaws and a hard-working, charming mechanic, takes care of his family while trying to pursue success despite having no clear path for it. Meanwhile, he has to accommodate his sister-in-law, Lucretia (Sykes), and co-parent a son from a previous marriage, as the family faces the struggles that come their way.<\/p>\n

Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials<\/p>\n

This year, kick off your crime thriller streaming with a classic that won’t disappoint. Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials<\/a> \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bis adapted from the popular mystery author’s 1929 detective novel, The Seven Dials Mystery, a hidden gem in Christie’s body of work. The three-part story follows a country house party, where an untimely death is followed by a harmless prank, setting up the plot for a classic whodunit.<\/p>\n

Socialite Lady Eileen Brent investigates the case, which becomes more mysterious after another murder, connecting both deaths to the theft of a secret formula. The trail leads her down the path of conspiracies, with a shady club called Seven Dials being a key to solving the mysteries. Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials features performances from Mia McKenna-Bruce (Tracy Beaker Returns), Helena Bonham Carter (Alice in Wonderland), Martin Freeman (BBC’s Sherlock), and Corey Mylchreest (Bridgerton).<\/p>\n

Bridgerton: Season 4<\/p>\n

Finally, the much-awaited fourth installment of Netflix’s beloved alternative history drama, Bridgerton<\/a>, is finally here! This time, a new couple will take to the screen after three seasons of electric chemistry between its leads. Set in London’s high society during the early 19th century against an alternative Regency backdrop, the show follows the Bridgerton siblings as they navigate love, nobility, and family.<\/p>\n

The fourth season will focus on the Cinderella-esque love story between Benedict Bridgerton and the mysterious Lady in Silver he meets at a masquerade ball, who, unbeknownst to him, is a resourceful maid named Sophie Baek.<\/p>\n

Bridgerton has been renewed for a fifth and sixth season, and you can watch its spin-off, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story<\/a>, on Netflix.<\/p>\n
