Beloved Geordie singer Jade Thirlwall has vowed that a Little Mix reunion will happen ‘if it’s the last thing she does’ as she continues to enjoy success as a solo artist<\/p>\n

Jade Thirwall<\/a>, the 32 year old singer who shot to fame with Little Mix<\/a> on X Factor<\/a> in 2011, has promised a reunion of the iconic girl group.<\/p>\n

She made her name alongside Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, forming one of the UK’s most successful girl bands ever.<\/a><\/p>\n

The band split in 2022, two years after Jesy’s departure, but Jade has since carved out a successful solo career, scoring two Top 10 singles and bagging the Best Pop Act at the 2025 Brit Awards. Despite her solo success, Jade is adamant that a Little Mix reunion will happen, no matter how long it takes.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Capital Buzz, the Angel of My Dreams singer said<\/a>: “There will be a Little Mix reunion if it’s the last thing I do. You know it doesn’t matter how long that takes.”<\/p>\n

This week saw the release of Jade’s debut album That’s Showbiz Baby, which includes previously released hits like Angel Of My Dreams, Midnight Cowboy, Fantasy and Plastic Box. The album’s release precedes her first solo tour, which kicks off in October and will see her perform across the UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n

Discussing the album, Jade expressed her excitement: “This album has been years in the making, so I’m beyond excited that it’s coming out. I’m very proud of ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!’ as a body of work and can’t wait to share it with the world<\/a>. To be able to perform the album live later this year is also a dream come true. See you all on tour!”<\/p>\n

In a surprise move, Jade held a gig at the Angel of the North in Newcastle on Thursday.<\/a> To celebrate her debut album, Jade gave fans just hours notice of a surprise gig. Despite the short notice, over 1,000 supporters flocked to see her perform live.<\/p>\n

Sporting a Newcastle United football jersey, Jade entertained fans with five tracks from inside a converted metal food truck situated in a field just off a motorway. Her proud mum Norma was also spotted at the gig.<\/p>\n

Due to limited public transport to the location, fans parked their cars off a slip road to a busy dual carriageway, causing chaos for commuters. Photos from the event show police vehicles arriving after being called to manage the disruption. Despite the chaos, fans seemed to have a great time and Jade was visibly moved by the support she received.<\/p>\n

Her track ‘Angel Of My Dreams’ has been instrumental in launching her solo career, with a combined 215 million streams of her songs to date.<\/p>\n

Recently, Jade opened up about her ‘daily battle’ not to turn to Ozempic after years of struggling with eating disorders. In an interview with The Guardian, she confessed: “I have a daily battle with myself not to go on Ozempic.”<\/p>\n

“I don’t judge people that do, but because I have a history of eating disorders, I don’t know where taking something like that would end for me.” Although some people use Ozempic to aid weight loss, it is not licensed for this and should only be used by people with diabetes to aid their symptoms.<\/p>\n
