Virgil van Dijk<\/a> has reflected positively on Liverpool\u2019s point taken against Arsenal<\/a>, but he insisted the Reds \u201cwill never be fully satisfied with a draw.\u201d<\/p>\n

A criticism that can be levelled at Arsenal<\/a> on occasion is that they are unwilling to take risks and are too negative in their approach. <\/p>\n

Of course, they won\u2019t care when lifting the Premier League<\/a> trophy come May, but it does impact how they are viewed by the outside world.<\/p>\n

Something that has always been true of Liverpool is that they set out to win every match, an attitude Virgil van Dijk<\/a> exemplifies.<\/p>\n

\"LIVERPOOL,<\/p>\n

In his pre-Barnsley programme notes<\/a>, the captain wrote: \u201cWe will never be fully satisfied with a draw, even away from home against a top opponent.\u201d <\/p>\n

Despite not beating the Gunners even though they controlled the second half, Van Dijk thought the team \u201ccould take a lot of positives\u201d from the 0-0 draw.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cI think there are a lot of things we can reflect upon positively. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe togetherness we showed, and the way we were able to defend as a team and then take control of the game in the second half, was very good, in my opinion, and represents the kind of spirit and mentality we need to show on a consistent basis going forward.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will never be fully satisfied with a draw, even away from home against a top opponent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt hasn\u2019t been perfect, by any means, but we are now 10 games unbeaten, and that gives us something to build on, in what has so far been a very challenging season for us. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe have shown recently that we are still very much together, fighting for everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Conor Bradley injury \u201csoured the evening for us all\u201d <\/p>\n

\"LONDON,<\/p>\n

While there was plenty to build on from Liverpool\u2019s performance against Arsenal<\/a>, there was one big negative from the Emirates outing. <\/p>\n

Conor Bradley<\/a> suffered a season-ending injury<\/a> as he damaged bones and ligaments in his left knee.<\/p>\n

The right-back avoided an ACL rupture but will undergo surgery imminently.<\/p>\n

The Times<\/a>\u2018 Paul Joyce said \u201cit is too early to assess the chances\u201d the 22-year-old has of captaining Northern Ireland at the World Cup this summer, should they qualify via the play-offs.<\/p>\n

Van Dijk reflected on the incident, which saw Arsenal<\/a>\u2018s Gabriel Martinelli throw the ball at and shove the already-in-pain Bradley.<\/p>\n

The injury suffered by Conor Bradley<\/a> in the closing stages of the match soured the evening for us all,\u201d said the Dutchman. <\/p>\n

\u201cI am sure you will all join me in wishing Conor a full and speedy recovery.
