The Scream franchise turns 30 this year, and its killer legacy comes full circle in Scream 7<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our exclusive TV spot celebrates the franchise\u2019s enduring legacy and how everything has led to this, the seventh installment of the slasher sequel created by original director Wes Craven<\/a> and writer Kevin Williamson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Watch below as the clip rewinds to 1996 to chronicle Sidney Prescott\u2019s enduring battle with Ghostface, one that brings her daughter into the mix in the upcoming sequel. Even the Scream logo gets the legacy treatment, highlighting its transformation over the years between films.<\/p>\n

Paramount\u2019s Scream 7 will be slashing its way into theaters on\u00a0February 27, 2026.<\/p>\n

Neve Campbell\u00a0is back as Sidney Prescott, with the character taking center stage in the seventh installment, and she\u2019ll be joined by returning players including\u00a0David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Scott Foley\u00a0and\u00a0Matthew Lillard, with\u00a0Mason Gooding\u00a0and\u00a0Jasmin Savoy Brown\u00a0also set to reprise their roles from the previous two installments.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the official plot synopsis: \u201cWhen a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.\u201d<\/p>\n

This Ghostface wants to burn it all down.<\/p>\n

Set two years after\u00a0Scream VI,\u00a0Scream 7 is being directed by Kevin Williamson\u00a0from a script by\u00a0Guy Busick\u00a0(Scream\u00a02022,\u00a0Scream VI) and Williamson.<\/p>\n

The cast for Scream 7\u00a0also includes\u00a0Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O\u2019Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons\u00a0and\u00a0Mark Consuelos.<\/p>\n
