These totals, measured by <a class=\"ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/company\/co0863266\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Warner Bros. Discovery<\/a>, refer to U.S. viewership alone.<\/p>\n<p>The increased attention on \u201c<a class=\"ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt31938062\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Pitt<\/a>\u201d comes as no surprise. The medical drama was an immediate hit with critics upon its debut last year and grew via word-of-mouth with each episode, eventually becoming a heavy-hitter at awards shows.
