Honor<\/a> has announced the Watch GS 5, its next smartwatch<\/a>, with pre-orders opening in China on January 19. The company is highlighting health tracking as the main focus this time, particularly features tied to heart health.<\/p>\n

The Watch GS 5 keeps the familiar round dial seen on earlier GS models but comes in a slimmer body. According to Honor, the watch measures 9.9mm thick and weighs 26g. That should make it easier to wear throughout the day and overnight. Battery life is rated at up to 23 days in Bluetooth mode, which puts it among the longer-lasting smartwatches in its class.<\/p>\n
