Rabiya Mateo has revealed that she was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and anxious distress last year.<\/p>\n
In a Facebook post, the beauty queen and actress shared her medical certificate as well, detailing what she has been going through.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had my several rounds of medication. I left the country for three months<\/a> so I won\u2019t get triggered by people who have no idea what I\u2019ve been going through,\u201d Rabiya said.<\/p>\n \u201cEveryday was a struggle to survive,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n She also said that she almost \u201cdeactivated everything and disappear to have a quiet and peaceful life.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI fought hard and still fighting up until now.\u201d<\/p>\n Rabiya said after the passing of Emman Atienza, and seeing how painful it was for her Kuya Kim and his family, she made a promise to herself to never give up.<\/p>\n \u201cI don’t want my Mama to experience the same thing,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n To end her post, Rabiya shared a reminder to be kind.<\/p>\n \u201cYou don\u2019t know how little kindness mean to a depressed person like me and how your words can push me to do something else,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Rabiya previously appeared in \u201cLolong: Pangil ng Maynila<\/a>\u201d and \u201cMakiling<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
