Bruce Springsteen\u2019s most haunting album, Nebraska, is getting the cinematic treatment in “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere”, a new film from 20th Century Studios that has critics raving. The film, starring Jeremy Allen White, opens in theaters on October 24 and promises to capture the raw, soul-searching spirit of Springsteen\u2019s 1982 masterpiece.<\/p>\n
Unveiled this week, the trailer comes on the heels of a glowing reception at the Telluride Film Festival, where the movie earned a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Directed by Scott Cooper and based on Warren Zanes\u2019 acclaimed book, the film tells the story of how Springsteen, at a personal and creative crossroads, turned away from arena anthems and into his New Jersey bedroom to record one of his most stripped-down, vulnerable works.<\/p>\n
