After the split, Aoife moved back in with her parents, and things have been looking up for her ever since. She bought her own place<\/a> in June 2023 and went on to get engaged<\/a> to the new man in her life, Ben.<\/p>\n Though she purchased the property in the summer of 2023, it was only recently that Aoife and little Penny moved in because she hit a few bumps in the road with renovations.<\/p>\n The former Miss Ireland candidly spoke about feeling ’embarrassed’ to share that she hadn’t moved into her own place yet, and still lived with her parents.<\/p>\n During a Q&A on Saturday, one of Aoife’s followers asked: ‘Did you move house?’ Aoife replied: ‘I did! For any new followers, I moved in with my parents five years ago after a difficult relationship break-up, and I was four months pregnant.<\/p>\n ‘I bought a house solo, and [I have] been renovating for the last two years. [I’ve] been embarrassed to come on and say I only moved in recently as I genuinely didn’t think it would take so long, but had lots of reno bumps along the way and life got very busy.’<\/p>\n ‘[I] went back to work full-time, [I’m] raising a toddler, [I] met Ben, and wanted to let that blossom, and of course, [I’m] sharing content on here,’ Aoife explained.<\/p>\n ‘I really have had a crazy busy few years, but I have to say hard work pays off.’<\/p>\n Elsewhere, Aoife spoke of how she and her fianc\u00e9, Ben, first crossed paths. <\/p>\n ‘Bumble!,’ she said. ‘I had wanted to meet someone, and had been on dates, but nothing stuck. [I] deleted the app for a full year to focus on my new job.<\/p>\n ‘[I] redownloaded it and Ben popped up.
