Samsung just announced that its older Galaxy mobile devices are eligible for a future One UI 8 update, but they\u2019ll have to test it out more via betas before pushing out the public-ready software later this year.<\/p>\n
As seen on Samsung\u2019s official newsroom<\/a>, it has shared its beta rollout plans, with dates and regions included.<\/p>\n Come next week (as of writing), Galaxy S24<\/a> series, Galaxy Z Fold6<\/a>, and Galaxy Z Flip6<\/a> will have access to One UI 8 beta, if the users are based in Korea, U.S., U.K., and India.<\/p>\n In September 2025, the beta extends to device users of the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54.
<\/p>\n For these users, they can get access to One UI 8\u2019s beta within the Samsung Members app<\/a> (registration required).<\/p>\n Finally, Samsung said it will roll out the official version of One UI 8 in September for Galaxy S25 series devices. The company said this update will also include feedback from beta testers of the operating system.<\/p>\n One UI 8 was launched<\/a> alongside Samsung\u2019s new foldables, Galaxy Z Fold7<\/a> and Galaxy Z Flip7<\/a>. Core features include an improved Now Brief and Now Bar, alongside mini-upgrades to its older AI-based features like a better Audio Eraser.
