Hopefully, you have your tickets to the Return of the Carnival of Sins tour, because it might be the last time you see M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce<\/a>for a while.<\/p>\n

M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce, the leather-and-spandex-clad rockers behind songs like “Dr. Feelgood,” “Kickstart My Heart,” and “Girls, Girls, Girls,” will embark on the 33-date tour this summer. It not only celebrates the 20th anniversary<\/a> of the original Carnival of Sins tours, but also coincides with M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce\u2019s 45th anniversary as a band.<\/p>\n

And from the way that bassist Nikki Sixx is talking, the group will take an extended break once this tour is over.<\/p>\n

“There’s been a lot of great family<\/a> time over the holidays and a lot of football, but now 2026 is front and center, it’s time to dive back in,” tweeted Sixx, 67, in mid-January. “There are so many exciting projects ahead this year and next. M\u00f6tley only has 33 shows this summer, leaving room for other creative ventures. I’ve never been good at doing just one thing at a time.”<\/p>\n

This prompted a fan to ask Sixx, “Please come back to Japan for a tour someday.”<\/p>\n

“Don’t know if I’ll ever tour there again,” replied Sixx. “I love Japan, but after these 33 shows our contracts [are] up and we will need some real time off to decide what we do or do not wanna do in the future.”<\/p>\n

M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce \u2014singer Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee<\/a> and current guitarist, John 5\u2014announced the Return of the Carnival of Sins tour<\/a> in November<\/a> 2024. “Bringing back the spirit of Carnival of Sins has been a blast, and we wanted to take it even further for its 20th anniversary,” the band said in a statement (h\/t Ultimate Classic Rock<\/a>)<\/p>\n

“This new show is for the Crueheads who’ve been with us through it all and for the new Crueheads who didn’t get to experience Carnival of Sins last time around. Get ready \u2014 we’re coming your way, and we can’t wait to see you next summer,” said the band. Cr\u00fce\u2019s fellow rockers, Tesla and Extreme, are joining them for this tour.<\/p>\n

The Cr\u00fce has taken some lumps in recent years. In the band’s post-pandemic shows, Neil struggled to sing his classic tracks, drawing criticism from fans in the metal community. Co-founding member Mick Mars<\/a>retired from touring with the band in 2022 (and later accused the band of relying on backing tracks, which Sixx called a “betrayal<\/a>“).<\/p>\n

In March 2025, M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce was to launch their Las Vegas residency<\/a>, but they pushed it back to September so Neil could undergo an unspecified “medical procedure.” When the residency finally took off, Neil went on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk to reveal that he suffered “four strokes” throughout the years, including “a big one” during Christmas 2024.<\/p>\n

“My left leg wouldn’t work, and my left arm wouldn’t work,” said Neil, per Billboard<\/a>. “And slowly but surely, the sensation came back in my legs. And I had to learn to walk again. I went from a wheelchair to a walker to a cane to \u2014 I can walk now, but for five months it was just off and on, not knowing what’s gonna happen.”<\/p>\n
