Harry Potter<\/a> star Miriam Margolyes is getting set to offload her rural Australian retreat.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 84-year-old has listed the three-bedroom, four-bathroom home with a price guide of $3.95million to $4.2million.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Located in rainforest in the Southern Highlands, 139km from Sydney<\/a>, the property features\u00a0panoramic bushland views.<\/p>\n

Situated on 62 hectares, the home is built on stilts on a high point overlooking the surrounding mountain range.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Telegraph<\/a>, the Babe star purchased the home for just\u00a0$262,500.<\/p>\n

Highlights include large windows throughout which make the most of the amazing view.<\/p>\n

Known as Yarrawa Hill, the split-level home is constructed in two separate wings linked by a large corridor.<\/p>\n

Other features include soaring ceilings, Blackbutt flooring, and a rainforest courtyard and central heating.<\/p>\n

Uniquely designed for privacy, each of the bedrooms has their own en suite and sitting room.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the lower suite offers a private deck, fireplace and underfloor heating.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There’s also a modern kitchen with walk-in pantry and stainless steel fittings.<\/p>\n

It comes after the UK-born star raised eyebrows last year when she listed her Bondi flat in Sydney as a rental.<\/p>\n

Fans were aghast at the asking price of $1,300 per week for the semi-detached house in the beachside suburb.<\/p>\n

One person on Facebook complained: ‘Lovely, but very expensive,’ while another added: ‘There goes 93.75% of my salary.’<\/p>\n

According to realestate.com.au, Miriam’s asking price sits just above the average, with the median rent for a two-bedroom house in Bondi currently sitting at $1,245 per week.<\/p>\n

The Daily Telegraph reported that Miriam picked up the property back in 1984 for just $93,000.<\/p>\n

Miriam and her partner Heather Sutherland have been dividing their time between their mountain retreat and a house in\u00a0Clapham in South London.<\/p>\n

The couple met in 1967 while working together on a BBC radio drama.<\/p>\n
