A$AP Rocky<\/a> took a walk down memory lane as he revealed the moment he first laid eyes on girlfriend Rihanna<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The rapper, 37, was a guest on\u00a0The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a>\u00a0on Monday, and recalled that his first meeting with the Rude Boy hitmaker<\/a>, 37, took place in rather ’embarrassing’ circumstances.<\/p>\n

Though they now shares three kids together, Rocky explained that they first met as he was being rejected by bouncers at a New York City<\/a>\u00a0nightclub, and jokingly admitted that Rihanna did nothing to help him.<\/p>\n

‘It was crazy. We met outside of a nightclub, ironically, here in New York. I wasn’t famous at the time. She was obviously Rihanna.’<\/p>\n

‘And I couldn’t get in. The bouncers didn’t want to let me in, and I was with my friend, the late great Virgil Abloh, and Matthew Williams,’ he went on.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘You know, we kind of was getting into it with the bouncers and she, kind of, came out and we locked eyes right away,’ he reminisced.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘And I was just, like, in a a daze. And, you know, I was a little embarrassed that she caught me, like, you know, bickering with the guard and stuff like that.’<\/p>\n

‘Did she help you get in?’ Fallon asked.<\/p>\n

To the audience’s amusement, Rocky simply replied, ‘No.’<\/p>\n

The Harlem-bred music artist was on the show to promote his latest album, Don’t Be Dumb.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The project is his fourth studio album and his first LP in eight years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The musician looked dapper in a black suit which he paired with a stylish red polka dot tie, featuring the face of John F. Kennedy.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Rihanna was pictured meeting him after the show as the pair caught a movie together.<\/p>\n

She wowed in an animal-print fur coat with matching heels and a fur shawl.<\/p>\n

The star was decked out in pricey jewelry that included an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch \u2014 which sells for nearly $100,000 on the resale market \u2014 a Renato Cipullo R pendant, Marie Lichtenberg ruby pendant and XIVKARATS ‘mom’ ring.<\/p>\n

Rihanna and A$AP are also mother and father to sons RZA, three, and Riot, two.<\/a><\/p>\n
