There have been plenty of Dubliners visiting the National Lottery<\/a> HQ in the past few weeks as they collect incredible prizes that they won recently.<\/p>\n Three work colleagues from north Dublin<\/a> were celebrating after claiming a \u20ac199,756 prize which they won in the EuroMillions <\/a>draw on Friday, November 7th, matching five numbers and a Lucky Star. Their winning ticket was purchased at XL, Main Street.<\/p>\n The syndicate manager described the unforgettable moment they realised they had won big. “I had just come in from work and I was starving,” she said. “I made a quick sandwich and as I sat down to eat, I noticed the EuroMillions ticket sitting in my shirt pocket, so I decided to scan it on the app before eating.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen the message popped up saying \u2018You\u2019ve won big!\u2019, I got such a fright. I called the others straight away, we must have phoned each other three or four times that night, trying to convince ourselves it was real. None of us got much sleep\u2026 and I never even got to eat my sandwich!\u201d<\/p>\n With one member planning a car upgrade, another preparing for college expenses, and the third looking forward to a well-deserved trip, the group is excited to celebrate their win together. Another lucky Dublin player was thrilled to win \u20ac100,000 in the New Year\u2019s Eve Millionaire Raffle.<\/p>\n The winning ticket was sold at Hanley\u2019s SuperValu, Rowlagh Village Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin 22. The winner said: “I had actually bought the ticket to give as a gift, but I completely forgot to hand it over. By the time I remembered, I thought, \u2018It\u2019s a bit late now!\u2019 It was surreal when I realised I\u2019d won – suddenly I was holding a ticket worth \u20ac100,000!<\/p>\n “Then came the big debate about where to hide it for safekeeping. After much back and forth, we finally agreed to tuck it behind a picture frame\u2026 belonging to the person who won the argument\u201d<\/p>\n A Dublin man had a birthday to remember after scratching a \u20ac10 Mega Money Multiplier to reveal \u20ac25,000. The winning Scratch Card was purchased at Mace on the Celbridge Road in Leixlip, Kildare<\/a>. “I got two Scratch Cards for my birthday and while I didn\u2019t win on the first one, I immediately saw the \u20ac25,000 on this one and got the shock of my life,” he said.<\/p>\n “I was checking it over and over again – you never expect something like this to happen! I stuck the winning Scratch Card up on the fridge with five magnets \u2013 I wanted it where I could see it and to also be sure that it wasn\u2019t going anywhere! First thing on the list is to book a holiday.\u201d<\/p>\n Finally, a Dublin woman was over the moon to claim the top prize of \u20ac20,000 on the online Instant Win Game, Christmas<\/a> Crossingo. She said: “I told my family straight away and of course not one of them believed me!<\/p>\n “The plans are well underway for this win.
