<\/p>\nFormer Bollywood actress Rimi Sen, who has transitioned into a career as a real estate agent in Dubai, recently spoke about personal growth, career reinvention and the importance of understanding one\u2019s limitations during a podcast with YouTube channel Buildcaps Real Estate. During the conversation, Rimi reflected on how acknowledging weaknesses \u2014 rather than only focusing on strengths \u2014 can shape long-term success. Drawing from her observations in the film industry, she cited John Abraham as an example of someone who used self-awareness strategically while building his career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel that human beings usually focus on their positive points. But the person who understands their limitations \u2014 who knows this is my problem \u2014 and works on it, goes very far in life,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Speaking about John Abraham\u2019s early years in Bollywood, Rimi recalled that he was initially criticised for his acting skills. \u201cIn the beginning of his career, he was a model. People used to say that he couldn\u2019t act. He didn\u2019t react to that. Instead, he chose roles where he looked convincing \u2014 roles that didn\u2019t demand heavy acting,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
According to Rimi, Abraham consciously selected parts, particularly in action films, where his screen presence worked in his favour. \u201cHe chose roles where he looked right, where the audience didn\u2019t feel like, \u2018What is he doing?\u2019 That, in my opinion, was very intelligent,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
She further noted that once Abraham established his identity and became more recognisable, his approach evolved. \u201cWhen people start knowing you, gradually, with experience, you learn acting anyway. You become more comfortable in front of the camera. After that, he took roles that gave him scope to act,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Calling his choices \u201cstrategic,\u201d Rimi said Abraham was aware of his limitations and made decisions accordingly. \u201cI know him personally, and I felt he was a very intelligent actor. Whatever moves he made were the right ones,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Rimi also pointed out how Abraham expanded beyond acting, becoming a producer and businessman. \u201cHe entered production, gave hit films, and those films also had strong credibility. So a person who understands their limitations and works on them goes very far,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n
