KPop Demon Hunters<\/a>\u201d has landed two Oscar nominations, including best animated film and original song for \u201cGolden.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\tNetflix\u2019s hit movie and its song \u201cGolden\u201d has been shining ever since it released last June. The film won best animated feature and best original song at the Critics Choice Awards, and repeated the victory at the Golden Globes this month.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cGolden\u201d is performed by Huntr\/x, which includes members EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, and was written by EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, DO, 24 and Teddy Park.<\/p>\n
\n\tIn the best animated film category, \u201cArco, \u201cElio,\u201d \u201cLittle Am\u00e9lie or the Character of Rain\u201d and \u201cZootopia 2\u2033 were also nominated.<\/p>\n
\n\tNominated in best original song were \u201cDear Me\u201d from \u201cDiane Warren: Relentless,\u201d \u201cI Lied to You\u201d from \u201cSinners,\u201d \u201cTrain Dreams\u201d from \u201cTrain Dreams\u201d and \u201cSweet Dreams of Joy\u201d from \u201cViva Verdi!\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d follows Rumi, Mira and Zoey, known to the world as K-Pop girl group Huntr\/x, as they use the power of their voices to slay soul-eating demons and protect their devoted fans.<\/p>\n
\n\tIn the film, \u201cGolden\u201d is performed when Huntr\/x is on the verge of sealing the Golden Honmoon, a barrier that will permanently shut demons out of their world. During the emotional bridge, it\u2019s revealed that lead vocalist Rumi is part demon, bearing marks along her arms.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d is the streamer\u2019s most popular movie of all time as it dominated the No. 1 spot for weeks. Meanwhile, three of its original songs \u2014 \u201cGolden,\u201d \u201cYour Idol\u201d and \u201cSoda Pop\u201d \u2014 have been mainstays on Billboard\u2019s Hot 100 chart.
