I come from a big family of sound, supportive, beautiful humans. I have been acting, writing and making theatre for nearly 15 years. I love the work and am grateful for it but the graft of the craft would test your metal. I am proudest and most fulfilled exploring the world with my four year old precious daughter M\u00edla. She keeps me on my toes and brings me back to my essence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            What is your ideal way to spend a Friday night?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">I\u2019d be beside myself with a few creamy pints, good company and a quality show of some sort.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            Lie ins or up with the lark.. which is it for you?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">Love the bed, but I am better when I get up, get out and get at \u2018em. Love an auld sunrise. Enjoying getting up these days and doing the mornings and bringing M\u00edla to school on the bike.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            Does work creep into your weekend at all?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">If there is time on the weekend and something needs to be done, I\u2019ll get stuck in, but usually fall in with M\u00edla\u2019s rhythm, which is us floating about looking for people or nature.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/4941782_2_articleinlinemobile_ECHO_20FEATURES_20My_20Weekend_20Timmy_20Creed.jpg\" alt=\"Timmy grew up in Cork and went to school in Bishopstown. And who would you bring with you?<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">I would go to the mountains, to the snow, with my partner, Fiona, and M\u00edla and teach them to snowboard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            Closer to home, is there some place you like to head to recharge the batteries?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">Ceann Tr\u00e1, Ventry in West Kerry is where my heart is. The simplicity is life-affirming. We have a cosy little mobile home there, in the magic landscape, by a gorgeous beach, what more would you need?<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            Do you like to catch up with family\/friends at the weekend?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">Seeing close people on the weekend fills my cup up for the week, which I cherish more and more as I get older.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            Do you get to indulge any hobbies? Even as a spectator?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">A good film or a play would have me buzzing. A surf in Kerry if I am lucky. A dip in the sea anywhere.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            Entertain or be entertained? If it\u2019s the latter do you have a signature dish?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">I appreciate the act of feeding people. Curries and stews would be the regular, but recently I have been making a soup made from the vegetables growing around the mobile home in Kerry \u2014 pumpkin, artichoke, onion and garlic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            We have so many places to eat out in Cork \u2014 where are your go to spots for coffee\/lunch\/special meal?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">It\u2019s been a while and I was walking around today trying to remember where the spots are. Went for a sandwich at the stall in the English market. Myo for a coffee and Cafe Paradiso if I am all out. Open to suggestions while we are rehearsing&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            Sunday night comes around too fast.. how do you normally spend it?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">Usually nice dinner and a wind down and some figuring out what needs to happen for the week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            What time does your alarm clock go off on Monday morning?\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">Seven o\u2019clock these days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">\n            Anything else you are up to right now&#8230;\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">Loving being back in Cork, working on this show with a talented team. I am developing a number of theatre projects, and a group of us in Dublin have started an Irish language theatre company to try and get more plays as Gaeilge on the stage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\n             Timmy will be playing the role of Elliot in the Cork Arts Theatre Production of Infinity by Hannah Moscovitch, directed by Julie Kelleher, opening on February 5.
