Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, the “compelling” starring Jeremy Allen White and Stephen Graham, has landed a new streaming<\/a> home in the UK. Based on a real-life story and featuring “beautiful performances”, this is one 2025 release you won’t want to miss.<\/p>\n

The film<\/a>, from writer-director Scott Cooper, sees White portray legendary musician Bruce Springsteen<\/a> as he prepares to record Nebraska, the 1982 studio album that would come to be viewed by many as his seminal work. <\/p>\n

As he draws inspiration for his latest work, Bruce remains committed to telling personal stories in his songs, but it comes at a cost as painful memories from his childhood and his fractured relationship with his father, Douglas (Graham), come to the surface.<\/p>\n

Featuring Jeremy Strong and Paul Walter Hauser in supporting roles, the drama is now available to stream in the UK on Disney+<\/a>, with the Golden Globe-nominated film being added to the streamer today.<\/p>\n

Though it underperformed at the box office with a gross of $45 million, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere was generally well received by critics<\/a>, with Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> currently reporting an approval rating of 61% from 249 reviews. <\/p>\n

“What Cooper has given audiences here is way more compelling than a live-action greatest-hits compilation,” wrote Rolling Stone<\/a>, who praised White for offering more than a mere imitation of the singer-songwriter. <\/p>\n

“The great surprise of Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere – a solid, very likable, very affecting drama about an anguished period in the life of the young Bruce Springsteen – is that it doesn\u2019t shy away from soul-deep pain,” said The New York Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Vulture<\/a> was also full of praise, writing: “At its best, the film gives us a sincere look at the creative process and reveals it to be a sad, scary, at times uncontrollable and destructive thing. Just for that alone, it\u2019s worth seeing.”<\/p>\n

Over on IMDb<\/a>, the drama has a solid average user rating of 6.7 out of 10 from 16,000 logs, with one user<\/a> praising its “sensitive” approach to themes of mental health as well as the “beautiful performances” from both White and Graham.<\/p>\n

While Disney+ subscribers can view the drama<\/a> now, one of Graham’s other projects will hit the big screen in the coming months, with the first trailer for<\/a> The Good Boy being unveiled earlier this week. <\/p>\n
