A dramatic new trailer from Emmerdale teases some major developments ahead, including the discovery of one character’s death, and another’s long-awaited return to the village. Plus, there’s a closer look at what’s to come from Graham, who made a shocking comeback via Corriedale<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The trailer teases that Bear Wolf will be back in the village<\/a> despite a concerned Paddy’s fears that he’s not ready, following his ordeal at the hands of Ray and Celia.<\/p>\n

He is ultimately found by Ruby and Caleb, and \u2013 albeit in veiled terms \u2013 he lets Ruby know that Anya is “gone”.<\/p>\n

The clip indicates that this leads to a police investigation, resulting in the discovery of her body<\/a> \u2013 several weeks after she passed away.

Elsewhere, Graham is seen coming chillingly face-to-face with Kim Tate, after she tells step-grandson Joe: “I don’t believe you can bring the dead back to life.”<\/p>\n

That, it seems, is the perfect cue for Graham to emerge, growling: “That, Kim, is where you are so wrong.” <\/p>\n

Another character taking centre-stage is Cain Dingle, who attends a hospital appointment amid his looming diagnosis.<\/p>\n

This is the first of four new promos to be released showcasing what’s coming up on the soap, and it’s all packaged up by Lisa Riley and Bradley Riches in their finest Traitors gear (trust us, it’ll make sense when you watch it).<\/p>\n

Producer Laura Shaw said: “Corriedale kicked off 2026 with a bang for Emmerdale! The unforgettable January 5 episode kept viewers gripped with major developments like Graham’s surprise return, Ray’s unexpected death, and Cain’s shocking diagnosis. <\/p>\n

“But the excitement is far from over. We have an abundance of explosive, top-tier television planned for the coming weeks, promising to follow up on these thrilling Corriedale events.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andrew Scarborough, who plays Graham, recently spoke out<\/a> about his shock return to the show after a six-year absence, and what things might be like for his character and Kim.<\/p>\n

“They fight like cat-and-dog, but there is a lot of love there,” he said. “They’re just incredibly attracted to each other, like moths to a flame. But also at the same time, they live off that flame.”<\/p>\n

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX<\/a>.<\/p>\n
