Photo: Getty<\/p>\n<p>Wexford People<\/p>\n<p>Today at 07:40<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Wexford County Council has issued an urgent call for arts and cultural festivals to express interest in participating in a national programme to showcase Irish arts and culture during Ireland\u2019s upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Ireland will assume the rotating EU Council presidency in July, an opportunity that arises once every 13 years.
