According to the source, the famous family is a close-knit bunch, though they suggested tensions may stem from familial differences with Brooklyn\u2019s wife, actress Nicola Peltz. \u201cThey are close in a different way than Nicola\u2019s family is,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n
The hope for reconciliation follows Brooklyn\u2019s explosive Instagram post earlier this week, in which he accused his parents\u2014particularly his mother\u2014of repeatedly disrespecting his wife. <\/p>\n
\u201cMy wife has been consistently disrespected,\u201d Brooklyn wrote, claiming that the former Spice Girl had \u201crepeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn also revived long-simmering rumors about his 2022 wedding to Peltz, alleging that his mother ruined the couple\u2019s first dance. \u201cMy mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,\u201d the 26-year-old further alleged, adding that he has never felt \u201cmore uncomfortable or humiliated\u201d in his life.<\/p>\n

That accusation was seemingly corroborated by a wedding guest. Stavros Agapiou, who attended the ceremony alongside his partner, celebrity DJ Fat Tony, commented<\/a> on social media that Brooklyn was telling the truth. \u201cI was there and she did he\u2019s telling the truth,\u201d Agapiou wrote in a now-deleted Instagram comment. He quickly deleted the post and followed it up with an Instagram story captioned, \u201ckeeping my mouth shut from now on.\u201d<\/p>\n Behind the scenes, the fallout has reportedly left David and Victoria reeling. The source told People the couple is \u201chorrified about everything\u201d but emphasized that they still love Brooklyn deeply.<\/p>\n A second source added that the Beckhams believe time may ultimately mend the rift. \u201cDavid and Victoria believe time will heal this,\u201d the source said, predicting that reconciliation is still possible.<\/p>\n For now, however, communication remains frozen. Brooklyn and Nicola are reportedly refusing to speak directly with David and Victoria, insisting that all contact go through mediators. \u201cThey can\u2019t really do anything,\u201d the source said, \u201cuntil Brooklyn eventually comes back.\u201d<\/p>\n Neither David nor Victoria has publicly addressed Brooklyn\u2019s accusations.
