More good news for people flying out of Knock\"Ryanair<\/p>\n

There’s never been a better time to fly out of Ireland West Airport with even more services set operate out of Knock.<\/p>\n

While major expansion plans<\/a> of Ireland West Airport <\/a>were given the green light last year, there are set to be even more flights from Ireland West.<\/p>\n

Starting this June, Ryanair will increase the frequency of its flights between Knock and Liverpool to 10 departures every week.<\/p>\n

This increase will only add to the growth that Ireland West has experienced in the past 12 months.<\/p>\n

2025 was the busiest year on record for the airport, with more than 946,000 passengers, surpassing the previous record of 834,000 passengers in 2024, an increase of over 13%.<\/p>\n

Planning permission has been given for the construction of a new aircraft hangar and storage facility at Knock Airport Business Park in Kilgraff, West Charlestown.<\/p>\n

Knock Airport Business Park lies approximately 1km west of Ireland West Airport, Knock.<\/p>\n

The exciting plans include a two-storey office area, an ancillary aircraft storage space, and a new access road linking to the existing local route.<\/p>\n

If you ever struggle to find a space at Ireland West, these plans will no doubt help with that problem. There will be an increase in staff and visitor parking and secure bicycle stands.<\/p>\n
