\n\tAn extensively remastered version of the popular anime series \u201cDragon Ball<\/a> Super\u201d will premiere in fall 2026 under the new title \u201cDragon Ball Super: Beerus<\/a>,\u201d the franchise announced at the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri event in Japan.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe enhanced edition features comprehensive visual upgrades including new animation cuts, revised sequences, complete re-rendering of all footage, freshly recorded voice acting, and an overhauled musical score and sound design. The project, which commenced several years ago, aims to deliver a more faithful adaptation of creator Akira Toriyama\u2019s original work through cutting-edge visual techniques.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement was made during a live stage presentation at Makuhari Messe, with voice actors Masako Nozawa (Son Goku) and Koichi Yamadera (God of Destruction Beerus) appearing alongside executive producer Akio Iyoku. <\/p>\n

\n\tA launch trailer and key visual were unveiled at the event, showcasing the enhanced production values. The narrative follows the God of Destruction Beerus awakening from a prolonged sleep and targeting Earth after hearing about a Saiyan who defeated Frieza, setting up a confrontation with Goku and his allies.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe enhanced series represents a complete reconstruction of the original \u201cDragon Ball Super\u201d television anime, which featured Toriyama\u2019s original work, story concepts and character designs. The production promises heightened visual immersion, particularly in battle sequences.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe same event also revealed \u201cDragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol,\u201d a separate new anime series that continues the storyline following the \u201cUniverse Survival Arc\u201d from the 2015-2018 broadcast run.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Dragon Ball franchise, which originated in Shueisha\u2019s Weekly Shonen Jump in 1984, remains a global entertainment property spanning animation, films, gaming and merchandise. The franchise launched \u201cDragon Ball Daima\u201d in 2024 to mark the 40th anniversary of the original manga\u2019s serialization.<\/p>\n
