Cole Tucker<\/a> is hitting dad duty right out of the park.<\/p>\n

The former MLB star\u2014who shares two kids with wife Vanessa Hudgens<\/a>\u2014revealed rare details about his family life, including the sex of the couple\u2019s youngest baby<\/a>, who was born in November.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo kids now,\u201d Cole, 29, said on the Jan. 14 episode of the Baseball Isn\u2019t Boring<\/a> podcast before noting his babies\u2019 ages. \u201cI got 7 weeks and a year-and-a-half right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

He quipped, \u201cI\u2019m in the fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked whether the couple\u2014who have not publicly announced the names<\/a> of their kids\u2014share sons or daughters, Cole revealed that they have \u201cone of each,\u201d confirming that baby no. two was a little girl.<\/p>\n

As for whether he hopes his son\u2014who the couple welcomed in July 2024\u2014will become a major league athlete like his dad? Well, Cole just wants him to be happy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want him to do whatever he wants to do, but my wife and I want to expose him to as much as we can,\u201d the professional athlete explained. \u201cHe was born on July 1st last year, and he plays the drums and the piano and the guitar and baseball.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe hits the ball off the tee, and he swings golf clubs and hits the ball, and he\u2019s shooting hoops, now,\u201d Cole\u2014who tied the knot<\/a> with the High School Musical alum, 37, in 2023\u2014gushed. \u201cHe loves basketball. We just want to show him everything and whatever he wants to do, we\u2019ll support him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife and I both ended up having jobs that people told us would never come true or would never come to fruition, so we\u2019re very open-minded,\u201d he continued. \u201cWhatever our kids want to do, we\u2019ll support them and love them no matter what. I don\u2019t want him to feel like he has any pressure to be a baseball player.\u201d<\/p>\n

While there\u2019s no expectation for the pair\u2019s son<\/a> to take up baseball as a profession, Cole definitely wants \u201chim to play baseball as a kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think everyone should play baseball because it teaches you so much about yourself and life and working with other people and whatnot,\u201d the dad of two added. \u201cI want him to have that experience, and my wife is super excited to be the T-ball team mom.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cole explained, \u201cBut I don\u2019t want him to feel like, \u2018You have to go to the big leagues because dad did.\u2019 That pressure and anxiety would suck. But if you want, let\u2019s go.\u201d<\/p>\n
