Ballet Ireland\u2019s Cinderella is coming to An Grian\u00e1n Theatre in Letterkenny<\/a> this November.<\/p>\n

The production, sponsored by EY Ireland, will tour nationwide this November and December, bringing a touch of much needed magic to audiences across the country. Two performances are scheduled for 22 November at 2:30pm and 7:30pm at An Grian\u00e1n Theatre, Letterkenny.<\/p>\n

Ballet Ireland\u2019s Cinderella reboots its glass slipper for a richly evocative production that transforms classical ballet into dazzling, poignant, breathtaking experience.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re a ballet first-timer or a lifelong ballet lover, Cinderella is your chance to experience\u00a0 vibrant choreography, stunning pointe work (the ultimate stiletto), and a dash of magic – all set to a gorgeous score that blends timeless elegance with ambitious reinvention.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Choreographed by Loughlan Prior, named one of Dance Magazine\u2019s 25 To Watch in 2025, this production of Cinderella story highlights themes of self-worth, resilience, and the power of enduring ambition.<\/p>\n

Her encounter with the \u2018Prince\u2019 takes place not in a palace, but at a rooftop soir\u00e9e overlooking the skyline – a fleeting, luminous moment of connection in the city that never sleeps.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

In an age of re-examination and reinterpretation, Ballet Ireland\u2019s Cinderella stands as a testament\u00a0 to the power of storytelling through dance. It invites us to revisit a familiar tale with fresh eyes – and to discover a story about agency, elegance, and enduring hope. The magic doesn\u2019t end at midnight.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This will be the fifth season that EY Ireland has partnered with Ballet Ireland to enable a national tour of an iconic ballet performance. In 2025, 12 cities and towns across Ireland will have the opportunity to see a world class performance of Cinderella thanks in part to EY.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to the support provided by EY, Ballet Ireland recently received a generous legacy donation from the family of Breda Courtney who, like thousands of young women, left Ireland in the 1950\u2019s heading for New York and new possibilities. This large gift will fund the creation of the costumes for the production designed by award winning costume and set designer, Elin Steele. Philanthropic support of this magnitude from individuals who believe in the transformative beauty of ballet helps secure the future of ballet for a new generation of artists and audiences. Cinderella performances begin on November 7 and continue until December 21 at 12 venues across Ireland – including five performances at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin.
