KIIS FM\u2019s The Kyle and Jackie O Show has been disrupted by major technical issues this morning, forcing co-host Kyle Sandilands off the air.<\/p>\n

An Australian Radio Network (ARN) spokesperson confirmed the Sydney office was experiencing an \u201cinternet outage\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sandilands, who was broadcasting remotely into the studio, was unable to connect after the outage affected the same internet provider used by the network.<\/p>\n

The breakdown triggered a series of on-air glitches, with pre-recorded segments playing on a continuous loop.<\/p>\n

At one point, a recorded exchange between Jackie \u2018O\u2019 Henderson and newsreader Brooklyn Ross about star signs repeated for at least five minutes.<\/p>\n

Moments later, another pre-taped conversation \u2013 this time about the Eiffel Tower \u2013 looped seven or eight times before the feed was restored.<\/p>\n

In a phone call from the studio to Sandilands, the host said, \u201cI have an internet, but we\u2019re using the radio station\u2019s business internet. So Bruno\u2019s walking around here very agitated. You know how Bruno\u2019s very carefree and he\u2019s always approachable? Unless he\u2019s really stressed like this, then he can\u2019t hear anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

TPG outage impacts KIIS and Triple M<\/p>\n

It has been confirmed that the internet outage is with TPG.<\/p>\n

Sources say it impacted a wide number of stations. Mediaweek can confirm two \u2013 KIIS and Triple M.<\/p>\n

Triple M Townsville\u2019s Cliffo and Kate for Breakfast, updated listeners on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kate Jeboult said, \u201cWe\u2019re currently experiencing some technical difficulties in the studio \u2013 I promise I didn\u2019t press any buttons.\u201d She then joked, \u201cOr maybe it\u2019s a gag order?\u201d<\/p>\n

The hosts asked their audience to enjoy the music that would be played until the outage was sorted.<\/p>\n

TPG outages made headlines last year when calls to 000 were not connected, potentially resulting in deaths.<\/p>\n
