Channel 4 will examine the Beckham family fallout in a new documentary.<\/p>\n

The one-off film, Beckham: Family At War \u2013 Untold, will recount the recent public fallout between Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and his parents, former football star David Beckham and ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham.<\/p>\n

It comes after the eldest of the Beckhams’ four children shared a six-page Instagram story last week containing a number of accusations against his celebrity parents, including that they prioritise “Brand Beckham” over all else.<\/p>\n

The aspiring chef also said that he did not want to “reconcile” with his family, confirming for the first time a family feud after years of speculation.<\/p>\n

The new documentary will look into how this fallout became such a widespread story around the world, analysing the internet\u2019s response as well as hearing from experts across public relations and the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n

In the explosive statement, which was shared on 19 January, Brooklyn claimed that his parents control narratives about his family in the press and tried to “ruin” his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, adding that she was not invited to his father\u2019s 50th birthday party.<\/p>\n

The following day, his father appeared to respond to the statement and told US outlet CNBC\u2019s Squawk Box that parents must let their children “make mistakes” on social media.<\/p>\n

He continued: “It can be dangerous, but what I\u2019ve found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it (social media) for the right reasons.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve tried to do the same with my children to educate them. They make mistakes. Children are allowed to make mistakes. That\u2019s how they learn.”<\/p>\n

Brooklyn had also alleged that Victoria Beckham “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola at their wedding and danced “inappropriately on me” in front of their guests, adding that he had never felt “more uncomfortable or humiliated” in his life.<\/p>\n

Since the statement was made, DJ Fat Tony, who performed at the three-day wedding, said in an interview on ITV\u2019s This Morning that Nicola was in tears at her wedding after Victoria Beckham had the first dance with her husband.<\/p>\n

He said US singer Marc Anthony was on stage when he asked for “the most beautiful woman in the room” to come to the stage, and guests believed it was for Nicola\u2019s first dance with Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

Instead, Victoria Beckham is said to have been called to the stage by Anthony and asked to dance with her son, prompting Nicola to leave the room crying.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn\u2019s parents, also known as Posh and Becks, have two other sons, Cruz and Romeo, and daughter Harper.<\/p>\n

Beckham: Family At War \u2013 Untold will be available to watch and stream on Channel 4 at 10pm on Wednesday 28 January.<\/p>\n
