\n\tAmerican Cinema Editors<\/a> has stitched together the nominees for its 76th annual Eddie Awards<\/a> next month. See the full list below. <\/p>\n

\n\tVying for the marquee Best Edited Feature Film (Drama, Theatrical) prize are the editors for Best Picture Oscar nominees F1, Hamnet, Sentimental Value and Sinners, along with Weapons. Up for the Feature Film (Comedy, Theatrical) award are Bugonia, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another \u2014 all also in the Best Picture race \u2014 Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery and Wicked: For Good.<\/p>\n

\n\tWinners will be revealed during the 2026 ACE Eddie Awards<\/a> ceremony on Friday, February 27, at UCLA\u2019s Royce Hall.<\/p>\n

\n\tHopefuls in the Animated Feature category are the editors of The Bad Guys, KPop Demon Hunters and Zootopia 2, and the Documentary Feature race features Becoming Led Zeppelin, It\u2019s Never Over, Jeff Buckley, John Candy: I Like Me, Ladies & Gentlemen \u2026 50 Years of SNL Music and The Perfect Neighbor.<\/p>\n

\n\tSince the turn of the 21st century, the Eddie winner for theatrical drama has gone on to score the Academy Award for Best Editing 14 of 26 times \u2014 but only once in the past five years, for Oppenheimer.\u00a0Wicked and Emilia P\u00e9rez\u00a0took the\u00a0top film honors at the 2025 Eddies<\/a>, with\u00a0Anora\u2018s Sean Baker going on the\u00a0win the Oscar for Best Film Editing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tACE said in the summer that it is adding a new category for Edited Shorts<\/a> for the 2026 Eddies. <\/p>\n

\n\tTwo-time Oscar-winning director Ang Lee is set to receive the\u00a0American Cinema Editors\u2018 2026 Filmmaker of the Year honor next month. The group also will honor Emmy-winning editor-director Arthur Forney and Oscar-nominated editor Robert Leighton with ACE Career Achievement awards. Kim Larson, Managing Director and Head of YouTube\u2019s Creator and Gaming team, will accept the ACE Visionary Award<\/a>\u00a0for YouTube during the ceremony.<\/p>\n
