Nicola Peltz<\/a> is said to receive a $1 million (\u00a3800,000) a month allowance from her billionaire father Nelson Peltz, amid reports that Brooklyn Beckham<\/a> has been taken under the wing of his ultra-wealthy in-laws following his public rift with his family<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The claim was aired by Marina Hyde on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, where she contrasted the financial support Nicola is believed to receive with that of her husband Brooklyn, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham.<\/p>\n

Hyde said: \u201cFrom what I hear, I think the Beckhams give Brooklyn a lot of money, but not insane money. They have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent.\u201d She added that Nelson Peltz was said to have remarked: \u201cI give my daughter a million-dollar-a-month allowance.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the Beckham name is globally famous, Nelson Peltz\u2019s wealth reportedly eclipses that of his co-parents-in-law<\/a>. The American businessman has an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion (\u00a31.25 billion), compared with the Beckhams\u2019 reported $680 million (\u00a3535 million).<\/p>\n

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 31, have lived for more than a year at an \u00a311 million Hollywood mansion in Los Angeles, which has been reported to be primarily owned by Nicola. Previous reports have suggested that David and Victoria were uneasy about a prenuptial agreement and Brooklyn\u2019s financial dependence following the couple\u2019s move to the US.<\/p>\n

Nelson Peltz, who spent $3.5 million (\u00a32.8 million) on his daughter\u2019s wedding to Brooklyn in 2022, built his fortune after expanding his family\u2019s frozen food distribution business before moving into manufacturing and later becoming a prominent activist investor. He is the father of ten children.<\/p>\n

Nicola has pursued an acting career since her teens, appearing in films including Transformers and The Last Airbender. She recently made her writing and directorial debut with Lola and is promoting her role in the upcoming thriller Pretty Ugly. Brooklyn has meanwhile pursued a range of careers<\/a>, including photography and cooking.<\/p>\n

The couple were photographed enjoying a romantic break in Malibu days after Brooklyn publicly denounced his family in a lengthy statement<\/a> accusing his parents of controlling behaviour and attempting to undermine his marriage.<\/p>\n
