MS Ireland host public meeting for major new neurological support facility in the Mid-West on February 12<\/p>\n

MS Ireland invites the community to a public meeting preview the vision for a major new neurological support facility in the Mid-West on 12th February<\/p>\n

\"MSThe public information session will take place on Wednesday, 12 February at 11.00am in the Castletroy Park Hotel<\/p>\n

MS Ireland<\/a> will host a public meeting this February to share updates and outline plans for its proposed Limerick Education and Wellbeing Hub \u2014 a significant new development aimed at improving neurological services across the Mid-West region.<\/p>\n

The public information session will take place on Wednesday, 12 February at 11.00am in the Castletroy Park Hotel, Limerick. The event will provide an overview of the project, an opportunity to ask questions, and information on how members of the community can get involved.<\/p>\n

Attendees will gain early insight into MS Ireland\u2019s vision for a centre of excellence focused on rehabilitation, education, support and inclusion for people living with Multiple Sclerosis<\/a> (MS) and other neurological conditions. The session will include an open discussion about the future development and its potential impact across the region.<\/p>\n

The planned Limerick Education and Wellbeing Hub aims to address long-standing gaps in accessible, community-based neurological services. Once completed, the facility will include Limerick\u2019s first fully accessible gym designed specifically for people with MS and similar neurological conditions, alongside dedicated spaces for education programmes, peer support groups and community activities.<\/p>\n

Speaking ahead of the event, Mary McCusker, National Services Development Coordinator with MS Ireland, said:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very much looking forward to beginning this conversation with the wider community about our plans for the Limerick Hub. While the project is still at an early stage, this meeting gives us an opportunity to share our vision and highlight the meaningful difference this centre could make for people living with MS and other neurological conditions throughout the Mid-West.\u201d<\/p>\n
