A Dublin woman collected an incredible \u20ac100,000 from Lottery<\/a> Headquarters this week after picking up a \u20ac5 Money Multiplier Scratch Card.<\/p>\n The lucky ticket was bought at The Abbey Newsagent on the Drimnagh<\/a> Road in Walkinstown<\/a>, Dublin<\/a> 12. The big winner scratched the card off while on the bus home, and was completely shocked to see her win.<\/p>\n She kept the win a secret<\/a>, hiding the winning ticket on top of her wardrobe, and is planning a luxurious holiday to celebrate her windfall. She plans to pull out all the stops, booking comfortable business-class flights for her travels.<\/p>\n Reflecting on her windfall, she said it wasn’t easy to remain cool, calm and collected after seeing her win.<\/p>\n “I scratched the ticket on the bus and never in a million years expected to see \u20ac100,000 looking back at me. Staying calm and not giving anything away wasn’t easy and all I could think of was how I needed to get home immediately to hide this Scratch Card,” she said.<\/p>\n “I didn’t want to risk anything happening to the ticket, so it really felt like it was the longest journey home that day. As soon as I got in the door, I hid it up the top of my wardrobe and I haven’t told anyone about it ever since.”<\/p>\n “Planning a summer holiday is the first thing I’ll do, and I’ve already decided that I’ll be treating myself and arriving in style…Business Class, here I come!”<\/p>\n Another Lotto player – this time online – scooped \u20ac100,000 in the Millionaire Raffle on New Year’s Eve. The Cork<\/a> native also plans to spend their winnings on travelling the world too.<\/p>\n “I got the initial notification and assumed I’d won \u20ac100. Then I looked again and said to myself, ‘No, you won \u20ac100,000!’The penny really dropped when I started thinking about all the travelling I can actually do now. That’s always been a dream of mine.”<\/p>\n A Limerick<\/a> woman has claimed the Telly Bingo Snowball Prize of \u20ac45,005 from the December 19 draw after buying her ticket from the Gala store on the Main Street in Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick.<\/p>\n “I was sitting in the car with a couple of minutes to spare, so I whipped out my phone, found a pen, and started playing Telly Bingo. As I was ticking the numbers off, I was growing more and more in disbelief. I could have done with a magnifying glass to double check them all!”.<\/p>\n She rang her husband straight away, who responded, “Go away from me, that couldn’t be right!” Following repeated checks, she was delighted to verify her prize. “I had to hide the ticket somewhere safe, and I won’t lie, I’ve accidentally hidden things on myself in the past. This time my husband took charge and hid it in a new razor box. He said putting it in the safe was far too obvious!”<\/p>\n The Limerick woman had a brilliant Christmas<\/a> celebrating her Snowball prize and now plans to use her winnings towards some home improvements.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, this Bank Holiday weekend will offer National Lottery participants not one, but two opportunities to become multi-millionaires. Tonight’s EuroMillions<\/a> jackpot is expected to climb towards an estimated \u20ac125 million, whilst tomorrow’s Lotto jackpot is building towards an estimated \u20ac8 million.<\/p>\n Tickets can be bought for all draws in-store, via the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie.
