Liverpool star Curtis Jones and Arne Slot have reportedly had a \u2018bust-up\u2019, while Fabrizio Romano has revealed an update on a potential move to Inter Milan.<\/p>\n
On Friday, it emerged that Jones <\/a>could leave Liverpool in the final days of this transfer window.<\/p>\n The centre-midfielder attracted interest from Spurs earlier this month, but Fabrizio Romano has revealed that a move to Serie A giants Inter Milan is possible.<\/p>\n This is pretty surprising as the 25-year-old is a boyhood Liverpool <\/a>fan and has made 29 appearances this season, though\u00a0a<\/a>\u00a0report from an insider on X with over 700k followers and a \u2018team of five elite reporters\u2019 claims<\/a> he and Slot had a \u2018shocking bust-up last week\u2019.<\/p>\n It\u2019s unclear whether there is substance to this report, but Romano has provided more information on the recent contact between Liverpool and Inter Milan.<\/p>\n Also on Friday, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claimed that Liverpool have asked Inter Milan for information on Denzel Dumfries with a view to signing him.<\/p>\n READ: Big Weekend: Tottenham v Man City, Liverpool, Tammy Abraham, Michael Carrick, Gary O\u2019Neil<\/a><\/p>\n Romano has confirmed that there has been a \u201cconversation\u201d about Dumfries, due to the \u201cemergency situation\u201d with players following Jeremie Frimpong\u2019s latest injury. However, he has explained why he thinks a deal is currently unlikely.<\/p>\n \u201cLiverpool [on Friday] had a conversation with Inter, a club-to-club conversation with Inter, very good relationship,\u201d Romano said on his YouTube channel.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cLiverpool asked about the situation of Dumfries. His release clause (approx. \u20ac20m-\u20ac25m) is not valid in January, it\u2019s only valid in the summer.<\/p>\n \u201cBut the understanding is Liverpool asked about the player and the injury situation.
