The Rahr-West Art Museum is getting ready to celebrate the reopening of the Vilas-Rahr Mansion and the closing of a very popular exhibit.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, February 15th, \u00a0the museum, which just completed its 75-year celebration, will be holding an Open House.<\/p>\n
Guests are invited to explore the new mansion exhibits while also taking in the \u201cKeith Haring: Subway Drawings\u201d exhibit for the final time in Manitowoc.<\/p>\n
Assistant Director and Curator Diana Bolander will offer a tour of the mansion at 11:30 a.m., after which guests will have the chance to create a button inspired by Keith Haring\u2019s iconography.<\/p>\n
Also, as a part of the event, Alex Trimper, the President and Founder of Trimper Gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut, will conduct a gallery walk of Subway Drawings, during which he will discuss the Haring Subway drawings and his future plans for exhibiting them.<\/p>\n
This open house is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
