Keeping warm and comfortable throughout a flight can prove trickier than anticipated, particularly when you’re stuck in your seat with restricted movement for hours on end.<\/p>\n
Thankfully, choosing the appropriate travel<\/a> attire could significantly enhance your comfort levels while airborne.<\/p>\n While aeroplanes remain the quickest mode of transport globally, they’re rarely renowned for passenger comfort.<\/p>\n Travellers regularly find themselves crammed into tight seating arrangements for prolonged durations with scant chance to stretch out or ward off numbness.<\/p>\n In reality, true comfort is generally reserved for those prepared to shell out premium sums for first-class tickets featuring larger and more luxurious seats. Yet the airline has recently turned to social media to caution passengers against donning a specific garment during their journeys, leaving numerous travellers puzzled.<\/p>\n In clips shared on TikTok<\/a>, the carrier posted footage of an aircraft sporting the Ryanair livery descending over turquoise waters before landing at what appears to be Corfu airport. A celebratory tune can be heard in the clip, followed by a voice delivering the iconic phrase: “Thank you for flying Ryanair<\/p>\n This jingle and announcement are synonymous with every Ryanair journey.<\/p>\n “It’s 2026, let’s stop travelling in jeans,” the text overlaying the video declared, with a ‘please’ included in the accompanying caption.<\/p>\n Yet this bold statement sparked confusion among viewers, as numerous people rushed to the comments section demanding clarification on why denim should be ditched during travel, reports the Manchester Evening News<\/a>.<\/p>\n Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n “What is wrong with jeans please explain,” one puzzled viewer enquired. The airline fired back: “what’s right with them?”.<\/p>\n Intriguingly, a number of commenters sided with the carrier’s position, acknowledging that jeans aren’t exactly the most comfortable garment choice, especially during extended periods of sitting. One viewer remarked: “So real. I’ll never get it.<\/p>\n “Agreed. It needs to be banned.
