The best of the music industry are gathered in Los Angeles<\/a>\u00a0for the 68th annual Grammy<\/a> Awards.<\/p>\n

Comedian Trevor Noah<\/a>\u00a0is hosting the show for his sixth consecutive and final time, where he took aim at Nicki Minaj<\/a>‘s MAGA alliance and mocked Trump.<\/p>\n

Grammy viewers slammed Jelly Roll after he swept an award for\u00a0best contemporary country album, comparing his acceptance speech to ‘religious psychosis.’<\/p>\n

Bruno Mars<\/a>, Ros\u00e9, Tyler, the Creator, Lady Gaga<\/a>, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber<\/a>, Clipse and Pharrell Williams<\/a> will also perform.<\/p>\n

Rapper Kendrick Lamar<\/a> leads the nominations with nine total, surpassing Jay-Z\u2019s record of 25 awards for the most Grammy wins after snatching Best Rap Album for GNX.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ahead of the main event, the Premiere Ceremony was held where categories such as best audiobook narration were awarded.<\/p>\n

Jelly Roll slammed for religious acceptance speech<\/p>\n

Jelly Roll was slammed for his overtly religious speech during his acceptance speech for best contemporary country album.<\/p>\n

‘I believe that music had the power to change my life, and God had the power to change my life. I want to tell y\u2019all right now: Jesus is for everybody, Jesus is not owned by one political party. Jesus is not owned by no … label. Jesus is Jesus,’ he said.<\/p>\n

Critics blasted him for the rambling speech and even blamed it on his recent weight loss.<\/p>\n

‘That GLP-1 really fast-tracked the religious psychosis for Jelly Roll, huh,’ one person wrote on X.<\/p>\n

She also honored Roberta Flack with Batiste, Leon Bridges, Alexia Jayy, Lalah Hathaway, October London, John Legend, Chaka Khan and Wyclef Jean.<\/p>\n

Slash and Post Malone, as well as Chad Smith, Duff McKagan and Andrew Watt paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne with a performance of War Pigs.<\/p>\n

Ozzy’s wife Sharon as well as two children Kelly and Jack were visibly emotional as the tribute was played, crying as images of the Black Sabbath front man flashed on screen. <\/p>\n

Reba McEntire gave her first ever Grammys performance singing her song Trailblazer during the tributes segment of the awards show honoring the musicians who died over the last year.<\/p>\n

It included tribute to her former stepson Brandon Blackstock, a talent agent and former husband of Kelly Clarkson, who died last year at age 48.<\/p>\n
