A Galway GAA man took time to help a fan in need and blew the public away with his kindness.<\/p>\n
Cian McGinn, a prominent member of Galway’s backroom staff, took the time out when he saw an Armagh fan with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, who, according to her mam, was having a “meltdown” as Armagh and Galway went toe-to-toe, renewing their rivalry on Saturday 31 January.<\/p>\n
The Armagh mum says that McGinn came over to her daughter without hesitation, seemingly recognising the distress that the wee Orchard supporter was in.<\/p>\n
McGinn then held her hands, hugged her, and gently encouraged the football fan to breathe with him, and consoled the youngster until she settled.<\/p>\n
The Armagh mam said McGinn went above and beyond, praising his patience and kindness as “remarkable”, adding that Galway “should be very proud” of the man and his deeds during a tense game.<\/p>\n
