Niamh Kavanagh singer with the group Off the Record makes her television debut.<\/p>\n

From Finglas in Dublin, 20-year-old Niamh Kavanagh<\/a> is the singer with the exciting new band Off the Record. The group has successfully toured with Sinitta, Hazel O\u2019Connor<\/a> and the British dance pop duo London Boys.<\/p>\n

Pat Kenny<\/a> says of Off the Record,<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve just recorded their first single in London and insiders are predicting a bright future for them in the 1990s.<\/p>\n

With the band en route to a gig in Melba\u2019s nightclub in Birr,<\/a> County Offaly, Niamh Kavanagh makes her television debut backed by the \u2018Kenny Live\u2019 band led by Noel Kelehan<\/a>. Following her performance of \u20181-2-3\u2019, the 1988 hit single by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine, Niamh Kavanagh will be joining the other Off the Record members in Birr.<\/p>\n

Niamh describes the debut single by Off the Record as,<\/p>\n

Very commercial dance music.<\/p>\n
