Golf Ireland\u00a0has confirmed their selection for the\u00a02026 Women\u2019s Octagonal Matches, which will take place from\u00a011-14 February\u00a0at\u00a0Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club\u00a0in Spain.<\/p>\n
The tournament will feature eight teams with\u00a0Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland all in action.<\/p>\n
The Women\u2019s Octagonal matches provide an important early-season international test, offering players the opportunity to gain valuable competitive experience against other leading European nations.<\/p>\n
Matches will be played over four days, with teams made up of six to eight players. Each matchday will consist of\u00a0three 18-hole foursomes in the morning, followed by\u00a0six 18-hole singles in the afternoon, with teams competing against others in their respective groups before a final match on the closing day.<\/p>\n
Official practice\u00a0will take place on\u00a010 February, with team travel scheduled from\u00a08-15 February.<\/p>\n
