Fresh off of earning K-pop<\/a>\u2019s first-ever Grammy Award<\/a>, the stars of Netflix\u2019s smash hit KPop Demon Hunters<\/a> will perform at the BAFTA Film Awards later this month.<\/p>\n

EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami will perform the movie\u2019s headlining track, \u201cGolden,\u201d marking their first time performing live outside of the United States.<\/p>\n

In a statement released Tuesday, the group said they were \u201cproud\u201d to perform at Britain\u2019s biggest night in film, adding that it\u2019s a \u201cgolden moment that our younger selves could never have imagined.\u201d The BAFTAs will air on Sunday, Feb. 22.<\/p>\n

KPop Demon Hunters is a runaway success story for Netflix, pulling in more than 500 million streams since its premiere in October. The animated musical film, which is also up for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song, follows the fictional superstar Korean girl group HUNTR\/X \u2014\u00a0Rumi, Zoey, and Mira \u2014\u00a0as they secretly use their upbeat music to keep humans safe from evil demons.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt does feel so miraculous in some ways and destined in other ways \u2026 We\u2019re just trying to process it all,\u201d Nuna told reporters after \u201cGolden\u201d took home the award for\u00a0 Best Song For Visual Media at Sunday\u2019s Grammys.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is crazy because this is like a historical moment for you know, as being a Korean American,\u201d EJAE added. \u201cIt\u2019s a song that also represents Korea.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to Rolling Stone in<\/a> August about the unexpected success of the movie and the\u00a0positive reaction to the songs, songwriter Mark Sonnenblick said the team \u201cbelieved in the music,\u201d and the overwhelming response is \u201ca testament to the hundreds of people who worked on this film.\u201d<\/p>\n
