Prince William has been at loggerheads with his younger brother, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, for quite some time now. Things reportedly aggravated between the brothers, especially after Harry\u2019s memoir, \u201cSpare.\u201d And now William seems to be \u201cinfuriated\u201d with the Duchess of Sussex over her involvement in a proposed documentary about their late mother, Princess Diana.<\/p>\n

Prince William sees Meghan Markle\u2019s involvement in documentary as crossing a line, says source<\/p>\n

As per a source, Prince William seems to be seething over Meghan Markle\u2019s move. Reports are floating that Prince Harry is planning a documentary<\/a> to mark the 30th death anniversary of their late mother, Princess Diana, in August 2027, with Markle playing a central role behind the scenes.\u00a0Harry is planning the documentary as a way to honor his mother\u2019s legacy through a Netflix production, which the future monarch feels is \u201cprofoundly upsetting.\u201d<\/p>\n

An insider told RadarOnline<\/a> that the Duke of Sussex is \u201ccompletely resolute\u201d about the project since he feels telling her late mother\u2019s \u201cstory is something he\u2019s entitled to do as her son,\u201d and for this, he does not require a \u201csign-off from his brother.\u201d The source added, \u201cHe resents the idea that anyone should police how he remembers Diana.\u201d<\/p>\n

But it is the \u201cextent of Meghan\u2019s involvement\u201d that has \u201ctruly infuriated William.\u201d\u00a0\u201cHe sees her presence as crossing a deeply personal line and feels that allowing her to shape or profit from Diana\u2019s legacy amounts to a profound betrayal of his mother\u2019s memory,\u201d the source revealed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Harry\u2019s move comes after he feels that Diana\u2019s \u201cstory should be told outside of palace walls.\u201d But this belief has placed him directly at odds with William, who dislikes the idea of his late mother\u2019s memory being exploited.\u00a0\u201cFrom William\u2019s point of view, this goes beyond anything that\u2019s happened before.
